Picky Bars Performance Oats ready to go!
What is Picky Bars?
Picky Bars has a full line of performance foods for athletes from energy bars to performance oats to granola and drizzle.
How Does the Picky Bars Club Work?
This subscription club is the very definition of flexible and customizable. First, you pick the products and quantity you want. Then, you select the delivery frequency – every 1, 2, or 3 months. You can change both your order contents and the frequency anytime you’d like.
For example, a few months ago I purchased a handful of bars and some oats. I planned to have my next shipment arrive in 3 months. Well, we blew through the product I ordered in a matter of days so just 2 weeks after my original order, I changed my order contents and scheduled the ship day for the following day. I also changed from a 3 to 2 month frequency. I have found the Picky Bars Club to be flexible and convenient without being overwhelming.
Customization at its best.
You also get your choice of free t-shirt when you join. I selected this fun, COEXIST, t-shirt.

Your first Picky Bars Club order comes with a free t-shirt.
What is the Discount for Being a Part of the Picky Bars Club?
The discount is 10, 20, or 30 percent depending on how much you buy.

Is Picky Bars an All Vegan Company?
No, Picky Bars is not 100% vegan. However, I have found Picky Bars to be a very vegan friendly and vegan aware company.
Vegan awareness makes all the difference and gives me confidence in the company and products.
Too many times people have told me something to the effect of, “Yes, it’s vegan. {Pause.} There’s just chicken in it.” There’s no confusion or mistrust like that here. The bars and oats are clearly labeled and from interacting with their website it’s clear that they understand what vegan means, noting that certain product are not vegan because they contain honey.
For the most part, from what I can see, honey is what keeps several additional products from being vegan. I am holding out hope that they develop a vegan granola. hoping they develop a vegan granola. Maple syrup, Picky Bars. Maple syrup!

All Picky Bars vegan products are clearly labeled with the “V”!
Which Picky Bars Products are Vegan?
Energy Bars
Picky Bars offers 5 vegan energy bars. The only one not pictured here is Smooth Caffeinator because I just can’t do caffeine. I know, crazy, right?
Bars price at $2.75 a piece and you receive a 10, 20, or 30 percent discount depending on the size of your order.
All-In Almond Energy Bar

Light flavor with an energetic punch. Digests easily while cycling.
Ah, Fudge Nuts!

Chocolate + Peanut Butter, nothing more needs to be said! This is my favorite for a pre-run snack.
Cinnamon Roll’N

Tasty mix of flavors that is still mild enough to enjoy during exercise.
Blueberry Boomdizzle

I love the almost cookie like texture of Blueberry Boomdizzle. They are not overly waxy or slimy like some energy bars.
Oats
All of the Picky Bars performance oats are vegan! Yay!
These are great as either hot oats or cold overnight oats. I frequently make a mason jar of overnight oats so they are ready for after a long bike ride or warm up with a hot bowl of oats after a long cold run.
The three flavors are:
- How ‘Bout Dem Apples?: Apples & Cinnamon, how can you beat that?
- Can’t Beet Chocolate: Because there is a red powder I was worried there would be a strong “beet” flavor, but was pleasantly surprised with the appealing flavor profile.
- Game, Set, Matcha!: My husband reports that these are delicious. They have minimal caffeine so I stay away.
The oats come in single serve pouches ($2.99), single serve cups ($3.49), and 4 serving pouches ($9.99). and you receive a discount 10, 20, 30 depending on how much you spend.

Picky Bars Performance Oats are more than just pretty packaging. They really pack a flavorful and energetic punch.
Finding Vegan Croissants’ Personal Faves:
Fave Bar Overall: Ah, Fudge Nuts. I’m a sucker for chocolate and this almost is like a cookie/candy bar. It’s great for before a run when it’s been too long since breakfast but not enough time to eat a full meal, during a long bike, or a mid-afternoon snack.
Fave Bar for Bike: All-in Almond. The light flavor and soft texture make it perfect for eating and digesting on the bike. It stays together nicely without being too sticky.
Fave Oats: How ‘Bout Dem Apples? I really enjoy all the oats but, for me, it’s hard to top the classic flavors of apples & cinnamon.
